Temple moves in groups. Hospital staff coming off the same shift, church members heading to the same service project, a family that all landed in town for one reunion. Most of the time those groups split into three or four cars and hope everyone ends up in the same parking lot. A passenger van does the same job with one vehicle, one tank of gas and one place to meet.

When one van beats four cars
Most of the calls we get from the Temple area come from four kinds of groups.
- Church groups. A Sunday outing, a run to drop off donations, a men’s breakfast across town. One van keeps the group together and saves the drivers in your congregation from giving up their morning.
- Small business crews. Landscaping teams, installers, a property crew working several stops in a day. Everyone rides together, arrives together and leaves together.

The two vans
We rent two vehicles. The Ford Transit passenger van is $179.00 per day. The E-350 High-Roof 15-passenger van is $249.00 per day, and the high roof means people can stand up while they climb in and out.
Both are non-CDL vans, and both are self-drive rentals, so the driver comes from your group.
Rates, mileage and the deposit, plainly
Mileage is 200 free miles per day, then $0.75 per mile after that. If your group needs more, unlimited mileage is available on request. Mileage is counted per day, so a longer rental gives you more free miles.
The security deposit is a refundable card hold taken at pickup, not a charge. It is $250 for the Transit and $500 for the E-350. Out-of-state trips require larger holds: $500 for the Transit and $1,000 for the E-350. No money leaves your account unless there is damage, loss or a late return.
The van comes back with a full tank, or market rate for fuel applies plus a $25 fee. There is a $75 cleaning fee per rental.
Free up to 7 days before pickup. Between 72 hours and 7 days, you pay the greater of 50% of the first day’s rate or $100. Inside 72 hours, a no-show or an early return gets no refund, but 100% converts into a 12-month reservation credit.
Pickup, hours and lead time
Bookings need to be made at least 24 hours before pickup. That gives us time to check the van and have it ready. Pickup and return are weekdays from 9AM to 5PM. Weekend pickups and returns are fine if you book them during business hours.
Vehicles are picked up in Killeen, a short drive from Temple. If your group wants a custom quote instead of booking online, that is the route for churches, schools and sports teams, since group rentals are quoted individually.
